Olevisten kirkon torni ja näköalatasanne
Olevisten kirkon länsitornin goottilainen telttakatto valmistui 1500-luvun alussa. , Sen uskottiin tuolloin olevan maailman korkeimpia, Tornin korkeus oli joidenkin tietojen mukaan 159 metriä. Historioitsijat eivät kuitenkaan ole tietojen ja mittayksikköjen tulkinnasta samaa mieltä, ja jotkut uskovat, ettei kirkon torni ole koskaan ollut korkeampi kuin 115–125 metriä. Siitä huolimatta kyseessä on aina ollut upea rakennus, ja sen nykyistä 124 metrin korkuista tornia pidetään edelleen yhtenä Tallinnan symboleista. Näköalatasanteelle vievissä portaissa on 232 askelmaa!

A Walk Up to the Spire is Worth the Views!
