Where can I download the Tallinn Card mobile app?
The Tallinn Card mobile app is available for free on App Store and Google Play Store.
Is it a paid app?
No. The Tallinn Card app is available for free on both Android and iOS devices. The app is in English.
Can I use the app without internet connection?
Yes, you can use the app both online and offline. Your device must be connected to the internet if you want to buy and register for the first time your Tallinn Card or get directions to attractions. Free WiFi is available in most hotels in Tallinn as well as in most areas of the city. You can find public WiFi hotspots in Tallinn marked on this map.
Can I use the mobile app to buy multiple Tallinn Cards at once?
Yes, you can use the mobile app to purchase up to 20 Tallinn Cards. You can buy both adult and children’s cards as well as cards with different durations.
Can I use the mobile app to buy a Tallinn Card for another person?
Yes. If you want to purchase a Tallinn Card for another person so they can use it in the mobile app, enter the email address of the card recipient in the “Buy cards for someone else” field. After the payment transaction has been completed, the confirmation letter, number of the purchased card and invoice will be sent to the email address of the other person. The recipient can enter the number of the purchased card into the app in their mobile device and start using the card.
I bought a Tallinn Card from the online store. Can I still use it in the mobile app?
Yes, you can link the app to a digital card bought from the online store or a card another person has bought and sent to you using the app. To link your Tallinn Card to the app, follow these instructions:
- Download the Tallinn Card app
- Click on the “Buy card” icon at the bottom of the page and select “Already bought? Add manually“
- In the “Enter code” field, enter the number of your Tallinn Card
- Click on “Add” and your Tallinn Card is ready for use!
I cannot buy a Tallinn Card from the mobile app
If you are having trouble purchasing the Tallinn Card from the app, make sure that:
- you are connected to the internet
- you are using the latest version of the app
- close and restart the app
- Note: the app only accepts Visa and Mastercard credit cards and allows payments from banks that are used in Estonia.
If you still cannot buy a Tallinn Card from the mobile app, you can also buy it from our online store.
Does my device have to be connected to the internet to register my Tallinn Card?
We advise connecting your device to the internet when first registering your Tallinn Card. This way, the application will register the card’s validity period. Without this information, your Tallinn Card cannot be used in locations that offer discounts. After your card has been registered, you do not need internet connection to use it.
Does the Tallinn Card app include a map?
Yes, the mobile app is linked to Google Maps and Apple Maps which will give you directions to help you arrive in your desired destination. You can also discover nearby attractions as well as see which sights are near the area you plan on going to. The map only works if the mobile device is connected to the internet when asking for directions.
Is the Tallinn Card mobile app ready?

Do I have to reinstall the app for updates?
The app will automatically update if you have enabled the auto-update function. Your device needs to be connected to the internet to update the app. We advise reinstalling the app from the app store from time to time as we are continuously improving its technical aspects.
