MOON is a tricky word. In English, it means the Moon; however, when pronounced the Estonian way [mɔːn], it stands for a beautiful red flower (poppy).
A few years ago, Roman and Igor decided to toss their tall white chef's hats in the corner and go back to their roots, and thus, restaurant Moon was born. Quoting a good friend of the owners and a wonderful person who said after visiting Moon for the first time: “You have to go back to move forward!”
Simplicity, independence, local raw ingredients, integrity and respect, Nordic coolness. An unusual name. Unusual location. But a very usual place otherwise. Restaurant MOON has been selected to the Top 50 of the best restaurants in Estonia for several years running.

For "Shrove Tuesday" we have the tradition to try in all the cafes in town the "vastlakukkel". The ones in Moon were hands down the best.

Really good food and excellent service in a very nice atmosphere. The menu is short but the quality is excellent. They also have some nice inspiration from Ukrainia.
